Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo hands youngster, Christopher Baah Bonsu a call-up ahead of September's 2026 World Cup qualifier against Chad and Mali.
Bonsu Baah, 20, earns his third senior national team call-up in six months, having earned his maiden one in March ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier double header against Chad and Madagascar, where minutes eluded him in both games as the Black Stars thrashed Chad 5-0 in Accra before a commanding 3-0 win in Madagascar.
The youngster earned a second call-up in May when the Black Stars participated in the Unity Cup which was an Afro-Caribbean four-team friendly tournament which involved fierce West African rivals, Nigeria, as well as Caribbean outfits, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago, the former Shooting Stars winger grabbed minutes and made an instant impact with his very first start in the semi final game against Nigeria when he made a very crucial statement for himself in the national colours in London.

He again started for the Black Stars against Trinidad and Tobago in the third place playoff when Ghana beat the Caribbean side 4-0 to clinch the third place spot in the mini tournament at the G-Tech stadium in Brentford, London.
The very potent winger, with his electrifying pace and power, and ability to drift play into the final third of the opponent's half impressed a host number of Ghanaian football enthusiasts as he earned plaudits also from other international pundits.
Bonsu Baah made a sensational transfer move from Belgian side. KRC Genk in the summer transfer window to Saudi Pro League side, Al Qadsiah ahead of the 2025/26 season after making 90 appearances for the Belgian side, scoring five times and registering seven assists.
The 20 year old winger made his debut for his new side in the Saudi Super Cup semi finals as he registered an assist in his side's 5-1 loss to Al Ahli.
He will be in line for his official Black Stars game in the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali as he remains adamant on earning a spot in the final squad for the Mundial when he helps the Black Stars grab a ticket to the global showpiece which will be hosted in USA, Canada and Mexico.
