The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed the dates and venues for the Black Stars’ final two fixtures in the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Group I supremacy and a ticket to North America on the line.

Otto Addo’s men will face the Central African Republic on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the Stade El Abdi in El Jadida, Morocco, with kick-off scheduled for 16:00 GMT. The campaign will conclude on Sunday, October 12 at the Accra Sports Stadium, where Ghana will host Comoros in what could be a decisive showdown.

Addo has masterfully blended Europe-based stars like Mohammed Kudus, Thomas Partey, and Antoine Semenyo with top-performing local talents, creating a side that’s both dynamic and resilient. With 19 points from eight matches, Ghana leads Group I and controls its destiny.

Victory in either of the upcoming fixtures would guarantee Ghana’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, set to be hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. It would mark the Black Stars’ fifth appearance on the global stage, following campaigns in 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2022.
