Ghana head coach Otto Addo has vowed that the Black Stars will leave no stone unturned when they face Mali in a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.

His pledge comes on the back of last week’s frustrating 1-1 draw with Chad in N’Djamena, where Ghana surrendered a late equaliser after Jordan Ayew’s 17th-minute strike looked set to secure all three points.

Speaking to the press on Sunday, Addo insisted that the team’s mission remains clear despite Comoros closing the gap in Group I with their 2-0 victory over the Central African Republic.

“The positive truth is that nothing has changed. Comoros have won their game and gotten closer, but for us, nothing has changed.

We want to beat Mali at home tomorrow, and that is what we expect to do. The good thing is that qualification is still in our own hands, and we will give everything to win,” Addo said in the pre-match presser on Sunday.

The Black Stars, who currently top the group with 16 points, will be seeking to keep their qualification campaign on track as they chase a fifth appearance at the global showpiece.

Kickoff is set for 19:00 GMT under the floodlights of the Accra Sports Stadium.
