The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has reported that all 37 individuals injured in a serious road traffic accident on the Accra–Kumasi Highway at Mankrong have now been treated and discharged.

The tragic crash, which claimed the life of one person, occurred on Sunday, January 11, 2026.

The incident involved a 40-seater Zhong Tong bus (registration AS 7022-21) and a Man Diesel truck (GW 3969-U), both of which were reportedly moving at the time of the collision.
