Dutch born defender Derrick Luckassen has sealed a loan transfer to Turkish Superlig side Kasimpasa in the current winter transfer window.

This follows the mutual termination of his contract by Belgian giants Anderlecht before heading to Turkey.

Kasimpasa have announced that they have reached an agreement with the player's parent club PSV Eindhoven for the loan transfer of the player till the end of the season.

The Dutch underwent his medical examination with the Turkish side before sealing his loan deal after agreeing terms with the club.

He was barely used in Belgium by Anderlecht compared to last season where he was a mainstay in the first team as he made a paltry 8 appearances before deciding to depart Anderlecht.

The Dutchman who has a Ghanaian heritage is still contracted to PSV Eindhoven till June 2023.

Derrick Luckassen who was born in Amsterdam is still eligible to play for Ghana as he is yet to be capped by the Netherlands.
