Former Kotoko player Joe Acheampong has launched a scathing attack on the management of the Kumasi based football outfit for an “unfair decision” taken by the club to sack former assistant manager Michael Osei.

Speaking to Kumasi-based Ashh FM’s sports team, the former Okwahu United player backlashed Kotoko’s management for taking the decision which he claims is unpopular among members of the cliub’s old players association.

“It is not a fair decision which was taken and we the members of the old players association are not happy” he complained

Earlier yesterday, media reports suggested that Kotoko’s new Croatian coach Zdravko Lugarusic had said he could not work with Michael Osei. A concern which led to the Ghanaian’s sack.
