Deborah Ferguson Terkper, wife of Ghana’s economic advisor, dies at age 63
The family of Hon. Seth Terkper, Economic Advisor to the President of Ghana, is mourning the sudden passing of his beloved wife, Mrs. Deborah Ferguson Terkper, at the age of 63.
According to an announcement issued by the Anona Ebusua of Atwereboanda, the Terkpernor family of Somanya, and allied families including the Grants and Hagans, Mrs. Terkper passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2025, in Fair Oaks, Virginia, USA.
Described as a cherished wife, mother, sister, cousin, and relative, her loss comes as a deep shock to her family and all who knew her.
Funeral arrangements are currently being planned and will be announced in due course. In the meantime, the family has kindly requested the public’s prayers and support, while urging everyone to respectfully observe their privacy during this difficult time.
