Medeama SC forward Ibrahim Nurudeen has voiced strong confidence ahead of his side’s matchday three showdown against Karela United at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Sunday, September 28, declaring that the team is “ready to prove a point.”

The two-time MTN FA Cup holders have made a blistering start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League, winning their opening two games with commanding performances—2–0 against Young Apostles and a 4–0 rout of Vision FC—without conceding a single goal.

“We are soldiers. If the Commander-In-Chief says he is ready, we are also ready,” Nurudeen told MEDi TV.
“We did the same in Dormaa. We just have a target—to go and win. With or without the supporters, we are paid to do this, so we are going to do our best.”

Head coach Ibrahim Tanko has instilled a high-pressing, possession-based style that has yielded six goals in two games, with squad depth and attacking fluidity proving decisive. While Kingsley Braye and Salim Adams are yet to feature, the team’s cohesion and hunger remain evident.

Victory in Tamale would extend Medeama’s perfect start and send a strong message to title contenders across the league.
