Issaka Baba Seidu continues fine form with first goal in Sweden

Ghanaian youngster Issaka Baba Seidu continued his impressive start to life in Sweden by scoring his first goal of the 2026 season for Ljungskile SK in their commanding 4-1 away victory over Östers IF.
The talented left-back, who recently won Ljungskile’s Player of the Month award for April, produced another standout display as he helped his side secure an emphatic result on the road.
Seidu joined the Swedish club on loan from Danish side FC Nordsjælland in March and has quickly established himself as one of the team’s key performers.
His latest goal further highlights his growing influence within the squad, with the young defender impressing supporters through his energy, defensive discipline and attacking contributions from the left flank.
The performance is also likely to attract attention back home in Ghana, where the defender is regarded as one of the promising young talents steadily developing in European football.
Seidu’s strong form continues a positive trend for emerging Ghanaian players abroad as they push to make their mark at club level and strengthen their chances of future involvement with the Black Stars.
