Baba Rahman, Reverson and Bonsu Baah join Black Stars Camp ahead of Wales friendly

Ghana’s preparations for the upcoming international friendly against Wales and the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers received a major boost on Tuesday with the arrival of Baba Abdul Rahman, Paul Reverson and Christopher Bonsu Baah at the Black Stars camp in Cardiff.

The trio joined the squad in the morning before taking part in an afternoon training session at Dragon Park, as head coach Carlos Queiroz stepped up preparations for the crucial assignments.

Their arrival increases the number of players in camp to 16 after 13 players reported on the opening day on Monday.

Among the players already training with the team are Ernest Nuamah, Jordan Ayew, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Elisha Owusu and Gideon Mensah, alongside Brandon Thomas-Asante, Caleb Yirenkyi, Marvin Senaya, Jerome Opoku, Benjamin Asare, Joseph Anang, Solomon Agbasi and Alidu Seidu.

The Black Stars are expected to continue training on Wednesday, with more players anticipated to join camp in the coming days.

Coach Carlos Queiroz will be hoping to build momentum and sharpen his squad ahead of the friendly encounter with Wales and the demanding World Cup qualifying campaign.
