The Black Stars have returned to their training base in Rhode Island after edging Panama 1-0 in Toronto, as attention now turns to a crucial Group L clash against England.

The Ghana squad arrived in Massachusetts in the early hours of Thursday before heading straight to their camp in Providence, where preparations for their next assignment are already underway.

Coach Carlos Queiroz’s side will hold a recovery session at Bryant University on Thursday evening following their hard-fought victory over Panama, a result that has boosted confidence within the camp.

Speaking after the match, Queiroz praised his players for their determination and resilience, highlighting the team’s character in securing all three points.

Forward Antoine Semenyo also expressed confidence ahead of the highly anticipated encounter with England, insisting the Black Stars are ready to “prove a point” against the Three Lions.

Ghana will remain in Providence for the next phase of their preparations before travelling for the Group L fixture, where they will aim to build on their winning start and strengthen their chances of progressing.
