The family of the late actress and entrepreneur Beverly Afaglo has announced a shift in logistics for her impending funeral proceedings, relocating the send-off ceremony from a private funeral home to the forecourt of Ghana’s presidential residence.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026, commencing at 7:00 a.m. at the State House Forecourt, followed by a private interment ceremony.

A thanksgiving observance has been set for the following morning at Action Chapel International, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Afaglo’s death on May 24, 2026, claimed her just days shy of her 43rd birthday, severing a presence that had animated Ghana’s creative industries for years.

Her passing triggered an outpouring of testimonial from entertainment sector figures and admirers who celebrated her professional achievements and vivacious personality.

She is survived by her spouse and their two offspring, both of whom will be present as relatives, acquaintances, professional associates and admirers gather to commemorate her life and contributions to Ghanaian culture and entrepreneurship.

The family has extended an open invitation to all who wish to honour Afaglo’s memory through attendance at the scheduled proceedings.
