An anti-corruption crusader, Kwame Asare Obeng better known as A-Plus has attributed the depreciating of the cedi to the collapse pf the local banks.

He said the Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), Ernest Kwamina Yedu Addison, lacks wisdom and common sense to deal with the banking crises.

A-Plus said the the governor's interest only lies in collapsing local banks and was now considering same for savings and loans companies.

In a Facebook post, the controversial musician described the governor of BoG with all sorts of adjective.

He added that the governor uses Rambo style to collapse a lot of banking institutions and causes more panic by announcing on radio and TV that his next target is savings and loans thus triggering panic withdrawals at savings and loans.
