Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has described his Premier League debut as a "special day" after playing a key role in Leicester City's opening match against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night.

The 20-year-old made a significant impact at the King Power Stadium, providing the assist for Jamie Vardy's second-half equalizer, which secured a 1-1 draw for the Foxes.

Tottenham had initially taken the lead through Pedro Porro in the first half.

Reflecting on his debut, Fatawu expressed his excitement and pride. "This was a special day, my debut in the Premier League," he said.

"It was a great feeling, and it was great to take a point out of it. I’m so happy, and it’s a dream come true for me. I’ll keep going."

Fatawu joined Leicester City on a permanent transfer from Sporting CP after a standout season in the English Championship, where he played a crucial role in helping the Foxes earn promotion back to the top flight.

As Leicester prepares to face Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday, Fatawu will be eager to build on his impressive start and continue contributing to his team's quest to secure their Premier League status.
