Ghana international Abu Francis has taken a significant step in his recovery after resuming ball work following a lengthy injury absence.
The midfielder, who plays for Toulouse FC, suffered a double fracture to his right leg while on international duty with the Ghana national football team in November 2025.
Since then, Francis has been sidelined as he underwent treatment and rehabilitation, raising concerns over his availability for both club and country.
However, the 22-year-old now appears to be progressing well, returning to light training and working with the ball as he continues his journey back to full fitness.
Images shared by his club show the midfielder in high spirits, offering encouragement to fans and teammates eager to see him back in action.
His gradual return is a boost for Toulouse, who have missed his presence in midfield, and for Ghana as they continue preparations for upcoming international fixtures.
While no official date has been set for his competitive return, Francis’s latest progress marks a positive turning point in his recovery.
