Ghana's Normalisation Committee have been caught in a spectacular accountability crisis, after failing to render account for the Namibia friendly last week.

The four-member committee have been unable to render an account for the home-based Black Stars international friendly against the Brave Warriors in Windhoek.

There have been several attempts to water down on the call for accountability which is growing louder in the local media.

The Black Stars flew to Namibia to play in a ceremonial match on the invitation of the country's president Hage Gottfried Geingob.

Critics had constantly accused the previous Ghana FA administration of failing to render account of Black Stars friendly matches amid claims of corruption and under-hand dealings.

But it appears the talk of accountability will just remain on paper as the status quo remains for the perceived lack of transparency and credibility.

Those who were extremely critical of the former administration led by Kwesi Nyantakyi have suddenly gone mum and some without a trace amid the accountability crisis that has engulfed the interim administration.

The much touted credibility and integrity is up in smoke as officials have refused to render account to the Ghanaian people.

On Saturday, the Black Stars B engaged the Brave Warriors of Namibia in a friendly encounter in honour of Namibia’s President, Hage Gottfried Geingob.

The local-based Stars however lost the match 4-1 on penalties after playing out 1-1 stalemate in regulation time.
