Ace sports Journalist of  Laud Aminu Zilla has died of cardiac arrest.

The sports host for  radio 360 in the Western Region was on his way to pre technical meeting for the week 19 game between Elmina Sharks and Accra Hearts of oak at the Nduom Stadium where he is the Venue Media Officer.

The former Kyzz fm journalist  suffered a heart attack in the car minutes after he had taken some snack and rushed was rushed to nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead

"Yes it is true that ace sports journalist in Sekondi Takoradi, Lord Aminu Zilla (THE CAPITAANO) is dead.
He was on his way to Elmina to perform his duty as a venue media officer for Sharks versus Hearts game to be played this afternoon at Nduom Sports Stadium and everything happened in the car," said Kwame Yeboah of radio silver in Takoradi who was travelling with him."

"He was even chatting and laughing with colleagues in the car .He asked them excuse him to eat his food and shortly after eating his food, he asked again that windows must be opened for some fresh air to enter the car because he felt the inside of the car was too hot at the time.

"Other passengers in the car did exactly what he asked but suddenly he started shivering and water was poured on him to remedy the situation."

"In the process he went silent so we quickly rushed him to a nearby hospital in Cape Coast where he was pronounced dead on arrival,"he added.

The  deceased, who had stayed and worked in the western region for more than a decade, had previously served as the venue media Officer for the Essipong stadium.

He also worked for Happy fm in Accra before  rejoining  Kyzz fm. He moved to spice fm in 2015 and  later moved to radio 360.
