Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur has urged members of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) to intensify their campaign ahead of the December polls.
He has suggested the adoption of the door-to-door campaign strategy to communicate to Ghanaians the good works of the President John Mahama's administration.
He believes the numerous developmental projects undertaken by the President which cut across all the sectors of the economy would be made known to Ghanaians if the strategy is adopted.
"I will urge all members of the NDC to go from house to house, window to window and door to door to propagate the good works of President Mahama to enable him win the December 7 general elections," he said.
The Vice President made these remarks when he addressed NDC supporters at Adum-Banso in the Mpohor constituency of the Western Region.
Political activities have intensified with 26 days to the presidential and parliamentary elections especially among the two dominating parties namely the NDC and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
NPP flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been touring the 10 Regions of Ghana promising to make Senior High School (SHS) education free and constructing one every factory in every district in the country.
He has also been promising a restructuring of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), a system he believes the NDC has messed up with.
But Mr Amissah Arthur said President Mahama is the only person who can take Ghana to the place it deserves because the several jobs have been created and more would be done if given another four years.
He cautioned NDC members against complacency, adding, they should all go out in their numbers to vote massively for President Mahama for the good work to be continued.
He also urged them to rally behind all the aspiring parliamentary candidates of the party.
Mr Amissah Arthur said the failure by NDC members to vote in the upcoming elections would be equated to an individual who has voted for the NPP when the nation is not ready for the NPP.
