Medeama SC recorded a moral boosting 2-1 win over Aduana Stars in their match day eight clash at the Tarkwa and Abosso Park on Saturday afternoon.

The mauves and yellows have struggled for goals and consistency this season but Isaac Agyenim Boateng reminded everyone that he is capable as he scored a brace for Medeama in the win.

Coach Samuel Boadu's side started the game on the front foot asking the Aduana defense all the questions in an action packed game.

It did not take long before their dominance paid off as striker Agyenim Boateng opened the scores for the host with a fine strike.

The home side were unable to protect their lead as 1o minutes later Aduana Stars pulled parity through Bright Adjei to level things up.

Both sides could not add to the goals as they headed for the half time break level as they had all to play for in the second half.

It was a balanced game for most of the second period as chances fell to both sides but it was wasted on numerous ocassions.

The home side were the most guilty of the two sides as they missed gilt edge chances to have buried the game

Deep into extra time, striker Isaac Agyenim Boateng scored the winner for the home side to condemn Aduana Stars to defeat.
