Reports have gone viral that the ‘ex-husband’ of Akua GMB, Dr. Kwaku Oteng, had seized the property he gave her when they were husband and wife.

Earlier, there were also reports that they two were divorced, but the beauty queen herself had desisted from making comments on either the divorce or the seizing of the property.

She had only engaged in coded posts on social media, however, a new post of hers seems to disclose why she had been quiet all this while.

In the post  Akua said it was wiser for one to keep quiet than wasting words on people who do not deserve it.

She added that sometimes the best thing a person could say in such a situation is nothing at all.

“Don’t waste words on people who deserve your silence. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is nothing at all,” Akua wrote.

We however, cannot independently confirm if she was speaking directly to her ex-husband that she was not going to respond to him on the issues about their failed marriage.

It is also unclear if Akua was speaking to the many reports about her and the marriage in the media.

Meanwhile, in an earlier report, she underscored that fact that if something was no longer making a person happy, it was better to walk away, hence the end of her eight-year marriage with the Adonko Bitters boss.

She further deepened the divorce saga when she removed her ring and till now, Akua walks about with the ring clutched on her finger as was the case formerly.

News about their divorce went haywire shortly after she was seen in a photo together with the husband in the media for the first time.

Also, Dr. Oteng had organized a plush birthday party for her few weeks before the news of their divorce.

Akua has two lovely boys with the president and founder of Angel Group of Companies.
