In the third quarter of 2024, Albania's fixed telephony sector saw a slight dip, with the total number of subscribers falling to 167,000. This represents a decrease of 0.3 percent from the second quarter of 2024 and a more significant drop of 4.5 percent compared to the same period in 2023. Despite this decline, the market remains active, with companies still vying for market share in a shrinking segment.

One Albania remains the dominant player, commanding 81.3 percent of the fixed telephony market with 135,818 subscribers. In second place is Tring Communication with 11,795 subscribers, followed by Vodafone with 7,205 subscribers. Abissnet and Nisatel round out the top five with 4,337 and 3,456 subscribers, respectively.
