A large number of Ghanaians are pushing for the prosecution of over hundred sports officials who have been implicated in the latest investigative piece by ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The thousands of people who watched the premiering of the video at the Accra International Conference Centre on June 6, 2018, have expressed shock and disgust after witnessing how highly respected officials receiving bribes and bend the rules were exposed.

The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is one of the numerous persons implicated in the investigative piece.

Over 100 referees and other football officials were seen taking cash before games with the intention of manipulating the outcomes of these games. Many Ghanaians who watched the documentary focused their attention on GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi.

“We should prosecute all these corrupt officials who have been implicated, the law must work and no one must be spared. The country is sinking because of such corrupt practices and this has pervaded all sectors, this must stop somewhere and it must start now with the prosecution of these people,@ Ann a lady who watched the video told this website.

Another Emmanuel, was shocked how the GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi spoke with boldness how he intended to sell the integrity of Ghana to supposed foreign investors.

“I’m sad and shattered by what I saw in that video, how the GFA Boss could even think of bribing our dear president and his vice with $million and $million respectively. So disgraceful, he must not be spared he should face the full rigours of the law.”
