Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo wrapped up a standout 2024/25 English Premier League campaign in style, netting a brace to secure a 2-0 victory for AFC Bournemouth over Leicester City on the final day of the season.

The Black Stars striker was handed a starting role by Bournemouth and made the most of the opportunity at the Vitality Stadium. Despite a goalless first half, Semenyo came alive after the break to lead his side to a deserved win.

He opened the scoring in the 74th minute, calmly slotting home after being set up by Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarnyi.

The Ghanaian doubled his tally ten minutes later with a clinical low drive from the edge of the box that beat Leicester goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk and nestled into the bottom left corner.

The brace took Semenyo’s season tally to 11 goals and 5 assists in 37 appearances, marking his most prolific campaign in the English top flight so far.

His explosive form and work rate throughout the season have not only cemented his place in Bournemouth’s starting lineup but also boosted his reputation as one of Ghana’s most reliable attacking talents ahead of upcoming international assignments.
