Bournemouth, however, remained determined, with Semenyo actively driving their attack throughout the match.
The Cherries’ persistence paid off late in the game. In the 87th minute, Enes Ünal equalized with a composed finish after a scramble in the penalty area.
Bournemouth completed their remarkable turnaround in the 95th minute when Dango Ouattara struck the decisive goal in a crowded box, sending the visiting fans into raptures.
Semenyo’s all-round contribution has been pivotal for Bournemouth this season, as he has now tallied four goals and one assist in 14 league appearances.
