Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo has reached a significant career milestone, making his 100th official appearance for Premier League side AFC Bournemouth.

The Black Stars striker featured in Bournemouth’s clash against Manchester City last Saturday, playing the full 90 minutes at the Etihad Stadium. Despite his efforts, the Cherries fell 3-1 to the reigning English champions.

Semenyo joined Bournemouth from Bristol City in January 2023 and has since become a key figure in the squad. Over his 100 appearances, the 25-year-old has netted 28 goals and provided 13 assists, showcasing his consistency and attacking prowess.

He scored eight goals in his debut season and followed up with 11 in the 2024/25 campaign. With six goals and three assists already this season from just 11 matches, Semenyo is on track to surpass his previous tally.

Amid growing transfer interest, Semenyo remains committed to Bournemouth, having recently signed a new contract that keeps him at the club beyond the summer of 2025.

The Ghanaian attacker, after helping the Black Stars mark their fifth FIFA World Cup qualification in October, is set to play a huge role in their attacking front as they look to have a better campaign at the global showpiece in North America 2026.
