Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has been shortlisted for the February Player of the Month award in the Premier League following an impressive run of form for Manchester City.

‎The 26-year-old has quickly established himself as a key figure at City since completing his move from AFC Bournemouth during the January transfer window.

‎Semenyo enjoyed a productive February, scoring three goals and providing an assist in the league. He opened the scoring in a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur before netting decisive goals in victories over Fulham FC and Leeds United. He also assisted teammate Nico O’Reilly in the win against Fulham.

Since arriving at City, the former Bounmouth and Bristol City F.C. forward has shown his versatility, operating both in midfield and as a centre-forward.

‎Across 28 Premier League appearances this season, Semenyo has recorded 15 goals and four assists, underlining his growing influence in England’s top flight.

‎The Ghana international faces stiff competition for the monthly honour from Viktor Gyökeres of Arsenal F.C., City teammate Nico O’Reilly, Dango Ouattara of Brentford F.C., Benjamin Šeško of Manchester United F.C., and Virgil van Dijk of Liverpool F.C..

‎Fans have until 12:00 GMT on Monday, 9 March to cast their votes, with the winner set to be announced next week.
