Antoine Semenyo has addressed swirling transfer speculation linking him with Liverpool and Manchester United, insisting his focus remains firmly on AFC Bournemouth, where he’s thriving under manager Andoni Iraola.

The 25-year-old Ghanaian international signed a contract extension until 2030, reportedly featuring a £75 million release clause, after emerging as one of Bournemouth’s standout performers last season.

“I try to stay present… I’m enjoying my football here,” Semenyo told Sky Sports.
“If I’m not scoring goals, all of that goes away.”

Semenyo’s direct involvement in nine goals in ten Premier League games has made him one of the most effective forwards in the league, drawing attention from top clubs across Europe.

Why He Stayed: Faith in Iraola’s Vision

Semenyo revealed that backroom conversations and belief in Iraola’s tactical project were key to his decision:

“I wasn’t too sure at the start, but we’ve kicked on like a house on fire… I’m glad I committed to staying.”

With Bournemouth showing attacking flair and squad depth, Semenyo’s role continues to grow — both as a goal threat and a locker room leader.
