There is massive anxiety in the Black Stars camp as Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah is set to announce his final 23-man squad today at the team's camping base in Dubai, UAE.
Appiah must omit five players from his provisional 29-man squad for the continental showpiece which starts on June 21st.
Local media reports suggest, FC Nantes striker Majeed Waris has been axed, alongside Ebenezer Ofori, Yaw Yeboah, Mohammed Alhassan and Fatawu Safiu.
Currently, 28 players are left in camp following the injury to St. Gallen defender Musah Nuhu which has ruled him out of the tournament.
Ghana has been paired in Group F alongside defending champions Cameroon, Benin and Guinea Bissau.
