Albert Nat Hyde aka Bongo Ideas, the young Ghanaian blogger who made headlines in November 2021, after a dramatic encounter with Nana Aba Anamoah and Serwaa Amihere during an audition at GHOne TV premises, has taken a swipe at viewers TV3's Date Rush show.

Date Rush is a popular dating reality show aired on TV3 every Sunday evening at 8pm.

Taking to his Twitter handle, the blogger opined that from the time of Inspector Bediako, a Ghanaian TV series that was aired in the 1990s till today, quality content keeps declining on prime-time media. He described the issue as deeply shocking.

“From Inspector Bediako to Date Rush: the decline in quality content on prime-time media is staggering,” he tweeted.

Albert could not fathom why a whole nation will make time to watch a show where young “desperate” women are paraded on TV screens for men to make their choice.

To him, this is prostitution being introduced in a modern way.

“An entire nation sits to watch desperate women paraded on tv for tasty men to pick and choose. That is best described as modernised proliferation of whoredom!” Albert wrote.

He questioned, "Are we mad?”
