Arsenal FC moved 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League table after a late 2–0 victory over Everton FC at the Emirates Stadium.

‎The game remained goalless for much of the contest before Sweden international Viktor Gyökeres broke the deadlock in the 89th minute, finishing calmly to give the home side the breakthrough.

‎But the most dramatic moment came deep into stoppage time when teenager Max Dowman produced a remarkable run from his own half to score Arsenal’s second in the 97th minute.

‎With Everton pushing for an equaliser, their goalkeeper had joined a late corner in Arsenal’s penalty area. When the hosts regained possession, Dowman sprinted the length of the pitch before calmly finishing into an empty net to seal the victory.

‎The goal not only confirmed the win but also made Dowman the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history, surpassing the previous record held by former Everton striker James Vaughan.

‎The result puts Arsenal firmly in control of the title race, although their closest contenders Manchester City still have two games in hand and are set to face West Ham United later tonight.

‎For Arsenal, the dramatic late goals and Dowman’s historic strike provided a memorable evening as they continue their push for the Premier League crown.
