Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for West Ham United's Mohammed Kudus, with the Ghanaian international emerging as a target following Bukayo Saka's hamstring injury.

The injury is expected to sideline Saka for several weeks, prompting manager Mikel Arteta to explore the January transfer market for reinforcements.

Mick Brown, a former senior scout for West Ham, confirmed that Kudus has long been on Arsenal's radar.

The 24-year-old joined West Ham from Ajax in 2023 for £38 million and has impressed with 17 goals and 18 assists in 59 appearances across all competitions.

Despite Kudus' impact, West Ham could be open to selling him if a substantial offer arrives, potentially yielding a significant profit.

Brown noted that while Kudus has the ability to "light up a game," he sometimes "fades into the background," which could influence West Ham’s decision.

Arsenal aren't the only club tracking Kudus; Liverpool and Manchester City are also reportedly keeping tabs on the versatile attacking midfielder.

Brown suggested that a deal could make sense for both parties, stating, "If Arsenal are serious and West Ham get the right offer, it makes sense for both sides."

With Arsenal’s need for attacking depth and Kudus’ adaptability, this is certainly a transfer to watch closely as the January window approaches.
