Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Arvin Appiah has secured a season-long loan move to Liga Portugal side CD Nacional from his parent club UD Almeria.
The 23-year-old will be with the White and Black until the end of the 2024-25 football campaign.
CD Nacional announced the deal on their official website, stating, "Striker Arvin Appiah is the latest addition to CD Nacional.
The 23-year-old player arrives on loan from Almería (Spain) and has signed a one-season contract."
Appiah has already commenced training with his new team at Paredes under the guidance of coach Tiago Margarido. The club extended a warm welcome to him, saying, "Welcome, Appiah!"
Should Appiah meet expectations during his loan spell, CD Nacional has the option to make his move permanent. His contract with UD Almeria runs until June 2026.
Although Appiah has represented England at youth levels, his Ghanaian heritage makes him eligible to play for Ghana at the international level.
