Striker Asamoah Gyan has landed in India to begin the latest chapter of a career that has spanned ten clubs and three continents.

The Former Kayserispor forward signed for Super League side NorthEast United on a free transfer.

He was spotted at the airport with Ghana's High Commissioner to India Mike Ocquaye Jnr.

The 33-year-old will be playing for his 11th club in his professional career.

Gyan will hope to replace NorthEast's top scorer from last season Nigeria Bartholomew Ogbeche, who scored 12 goals before leaving to join Indian rivals the Kerala Blasters.
