The chairman for Kumasi Asant kotoko's Nima -based Circle 300 has picked nomination formS to contest the deputy youth organiser position of the opposition National Democratic Congress at Ayawaso East constituency.

Abdul Razak Ismail,known in public life  as "Razak Ember" is vying for the position, having passed all the requirement of the party.

The chairman for the Musical Circle 300 picked forms at the party's constituency office on Tuesday, saying"the NDC "needs to create a new chapter".

"I decided to contest this time around, having led the party at the branch level," he told ghanaguardian.com

"The party needs to creat a new chapter since we are in opposition and we need fresh ideas with new approach to ensure victory in 2020."

The sports enthusiasts, whose contribution has brought Asante Kotoko's name to vibrancy in Nima and its environs, says he is sure of victory and promises he is gonna ensure the party becomes more attractive to the youth in the constituency.

Though he admits the race is going to be keenly contested, the young politician beliefs he is in pole position to clinch the seat.

"The NDC is the party for the youth, we have done enough for youth and will ensure we appear more attractive to the youth,"he said.

"I know the race wont be easy for me but I have the belief the constituents will surely vote for me to enure I continue with the good work I'v been doing for the party at both branch and constituency levels."

He thanked the incumbent MP Mr Nasser Mahama Toure for being a champion of youth development in the Ayawaso East constituency, saying his "enormous contribution" to the development of the has contributed in the NDC's great performance of the constituency

"Ayawaso is for the NDC, we only need to stretch our opponents in terms votes in 2020 and  with Honourable Mac Naza,we are going to do a great job in the next election,"Abdul Razak said.

"His leadership quality and enormous contribution to the development of the constituency has motivated most of us, the youth, to come and out and take up leadership roles".

"I am quite sure of victory for myself in this constituency election and am sure am sure a big victory for the NDC in 2020," he added.
