Asante Kotoko midfielder Kwame Bonsu, defender Amos Frimpong and goalkeeper Felix Annan have been handed a call-up by coach Kwesi Appiah for the final 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Kenya.

The trio have been rewarded for their exploits in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

The gaffer seeks to asses some new talents with Ghana already qualified for the tournament billed for Egypt mid-year.

For Bonsu and Frimpong, this is their first call-up into the Black Stars while Annan returns to the team after being left out of previous games.

Ghana will host the Harambee Stars on March 23 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Black Stars are second on the Group F table with six points, one point behind leaders Kenya. A win at home will see them lead the table.
