The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, together with his subchiefs and queen mothers, took to the dance floor to showcase their dancing prowess during a thanksgiving service held at St. Cyprian's Anglican Church in Kumasi.

The service commemorated the 100th anniversary of the return of King Prempeh I from years of exile.

The Asantehene, adorned in his traditional Kente cloth, was captured in a video dancing gracefully before an enthusiastic audience who cheered and reciprocated his moves.

According to the footage shared on social media by "Asante Nation," a handle affiliated with the Manhyia Palace, the King's dance was initiated by his chiefs and queen mothers, who requested to share the floor with him.

"Today at the luncheon, the Amanhene and Amanhemaa requested to dance with their King, the Asantehene, to no other song than his own composition, Ahemfo Kyinie. It was a beautiful sight to behold," the video's caption read.

The thanksgiving service also marked the climax of the 25th-anniversary celebration of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II's reign.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the President of Seychelles, the Prime Minister of Eswatini, and Ghana's President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
