AshantiGold will play Burkina Faso side Rahimo FC in an international friendly game on Wednesday. 

The Miners will engage Rahimo FC at the Len Clay Sports Stadium at 4:00 pm local time.

The warm up game forms part of AshantiGold’s preparations ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup campaign.

The Obuasi-based club have been drawn against Akonangui FC of Equatorial Guinea in the preliminary round.

Ashgold grabbed the sole ticket to represent Ghana at this year’s Confederations Cup after winning the GFA Normalization Committee Tier II Special Cup.
