The controversy surrounding the implementation of Free Senior High School education policy and who initiated it, seems to be coming to an end, as the former President, Mr. John Dramani Mahama, has finally admitted President Akufo-Addo has delivered on his promise.

Mr. Mahama who is seeking really-election, made the acknowledgement while speaking exclusively to GHOne TV Wednesday night.

Though he assented to the delivery of the policy by President Akufo-Addo, the NDC presidential candidate also raised issues regarding its implementation. According to him, the policy is being poorly managed.

John Mahama had earlier in the interview said the NPP has done nothing and has not delivered on any of its 2016 promises but when pushed by Serwaa Amihere on the Free SHS policy, he admitted and indicated it is the only promise delivered on by Nana Akufo Addo.

He told Serwaa, "What promise has he delivered? All his flagship promises have not been delivered"

But when pushed on the free SHS policy, Mahama indicated, "Oh Free SHS, he's delivered ...but implementation poor."

Meanwhile, the ex-President said in terms of trust on delivered promises, he comes ahead of Nana Akufo Addo.
