The fracas between Fast growing music record label, Zylofon Music and their artiste, Stonebwoy seem to be unending ass the record label is threatening to take legal action against the Dancehall artist over a recent statement he made.
The ‘Bawasaba’ hitmaker, told Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, that "…if you need me to work with, you will have to contact my manager and my management team will take care of it…Just contact my manager and we will get it done. If you want to book Stonebwoy, the artiste you’ve ever worked with from day till now please contact Blakk Cedi, Siddi Mohammed”.
He added that even if Zylofon Music is contacted with regards to booking him for any event, it will still end up as the duties of his management to handle it.
Reacting to the statement, newly appointed Public relations officer of Zylofon Music, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo established that the terms in the contract with the dancehall artiste still holds.
According to him, the rift between the artiste and the record label, Zylofon Music has been duly resolved.
Baidoo further stated that for the ‘Baafira’ hitmaker to openly issue directive to event organizers to book him through his personal manager and not through Zylofon Music was a breach of the contractual terms agreed on.
He added that the company’s legal lawyer has been aptly be informed about the unfortunate statement made by their artiste during a live radio interview and will soon take legal action against him.
