Ghanaian forward Augustine Boakye played a key role in Wolfsberger AC's thrilling 3-2 away win against WSG Tirol in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Boakye opened the scoring for Wolfsberger AC with a composed finish in the 7th minute of the game, setting the tone for an exciting encounter. Mohammed Bamba doubled their lead in the 48th minute.

However, WSG Tirol fought back with two quick goals from Julius Ertlthaler and Nik Prelec before the hour-mark, leveling the score and setting the stage for an intense finish.

In the dying minutes of the match, Wolfsberger AC was awarded a penalty, which was confidently converted by Bernhard Zimmermann to secure all three points.

Boakye, the former WAFA standout, played a significant role in the victory, contributing a goal to his team's cause. He was substituted in the 81st minute for Thorsten Rocher.
