Six persons including a pregnant woman have been reportedly being killed in a motor accident on the Techiman-Ejura road in the Brong Ahafo Region.

The unfortunate incident occurred when a taxi cab traveling from Techiman to Ejura with five passengers on board collided with a Kia truck from the opposite direction.

The pregnant woman and husband both teachers in the Atebubu-Amantin district were returning to their post after a mid-term break.

The District Police Commander for Ejura, Chief Supt. Richardson Kumeko confirmed the accident which happened on Friday said all the persons died instantly following the clash.

The pregnant woman and husband have who are Muslims have since been buried, while the other bodies have been deposited at the Techiman Holy Family Hospital in the Brong Ahafo Region.
