Ghanaian left-back Baba Rahman scored his first goal of the Greek Super League season, helping PAOK secure a 1-1 draw against AEK Athens on Monday night.
Rahman, known for his solid defensive play, opened the scoring with a brilliant strike, giving PAOK the lead. However, AEK’s Frantzdy Pierrot equalized later in the match, forcing both teams to share the points.
Rahman has been in impressive form, having finished last season with six goals and three assists. His performance continues to bolster PAOK’s efforts to defend their league title.
The draw leaves PAOK level on points with current league leaders Aris, keeping the title race highly competitive.
The 30-year-old joined PAOK on a free transfer from Chelsea last year, after previously helping the Greek side win the Greek Cup during a loan spell.
Rahman is contracted with PAOK until June 2026, and his consistent performances have made him a key player in the team's push for more silverware.
