Ghanaian defender Baba Rahman scored for PAOK in their 3-1 preseason friendly defeat against Belgian side Genk.

The match, played in Horst, was PAOK's third preseason friendly and featured extended halves of 60 minutes each, a first under coach Razvan Lucescu.

Genk took an early lead, but PAOK responded strongly after 20 minutes. Despite their efforts to level the scores, including a missed penalty by Thomas Murg after Tsingaras was fouled, Baba Rahman managed to find the net in the 55th minute.

He converted a corner kick from Despodov, reducing the deficit to 2-1.

In the second half, PAOK dominated possession, controlled the game's tempo, and created several scoring opportunities but failed to equalize.

Genk capitalized on a deflected shot to score their third goal, leaving PAOK goalkeeper Antonis Tsiftsis stranded.

This match is part of PAOK's preparations for the upcoming 2024/25 season, providing valuable insights and areas for improvement as the team gears up for competitive action.
