A national vice president of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anita Desosoo, has compared Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia to a serial caller.

According to her, Bawumia’s recent comments do not befit someone occupying his office.

Her comments were in reaction to remarks allegedly made by Bawumia with respect to Former President John Mahama’s desire to be reelected as president.

Bawumia is reported to have asked if “that incompetent one wants to come back again.”

This did not go down well with a cross-section of Ghanaians, who consequently expressed various opinions about the statement.

Speaking on Neat FM’s Ghana Montie on Friday, October 12, 2018, she said “Bawumia is behaving like a serial caller; is he our Vice President?”

In her opinion, Bawumia must desist from attempting to educate Mahama on national or governance issues since Mahama is far knowledgeable than he is.

She added that Bawumia’s response to his predecessor was merely propaganda and doesn’t depict someone who is holding a high office in the country.
