Bechem United head coach Manuel Zacharias has accused his assistant of trying to sabotage his work because he [the assistant] wants the job.

According to the Portuguese trainer, the said assistant coach has been working tirelessly to get him out of the club.

He added that the attitude of the assistant is such that he doesn't support him [Zacharias], instead he goes behind him to say bad things about him.

'I want to tell you one thing. I don't like someone who wants to take my position. We have one assistant coach who I know he wants my job. So he always interferes telling me what to do,' he told Moonlight FM in Sunyani.

'But me, I like to work with an assistant who will work with me and not behind me.

'I have diploma in UEFA and FIFA and I know what I'm doing so I don't want anyone to come in giving me instructions,' he added.

Bechem United have two assistant coaches, Edward Ansah and Osei Wire but Manuel Zacharias failed to name who amongst the two is sabotaging him.

Manuel Zacharias guided the Bechem side to win the first ever FA Cup trophy for the Brong Ahafo Region against Okwawu United last Sunday.
