Belgian giants KRC Genk have dismissed rumors that their outfit will be looking to acquire the services of Ghana midfielder Nana Opoku Ampomah in the summer.

Ampomah was one of the key performers for Waasland-Beveren in the regular season of the Belgian Jupilar Pro League.

The 22-year-old bagged eight goals in 32 appearances for the Yellow and Blue lads as they ended the campaign in 12th position.

But Genk insist there are no truths to the reports linking the budding talent to their club.

However Turkish giants Besiktas have emerged as the front runners for his signature after an excellent season in Belgium.

Ampomah earned his debut call-up to senior national team of Ghana ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Egypt.
