Bentley reimagines its iconic 1929 Blower as the Blower Jnr, a scaled-down electric tribute built by Hedley Studios. With a €100,000 price tag and 105km range, only 349 units will be made.

A Legendary Return: Bentley Blower Jnr Rolls Into the Future

Bentley’s most iconic racing machine, the 1929 Bentley Blower, is making a comeback — albeit in a compact, modernised form. Nearly a century after the original roared onto racetracks, the British marque is introducing the Blower Jnr, a scaled-down, fully electric homage to one of the most revered cars in motoring history.

The Blower Jnr, while promoted by Bentley, is being produced by Hedley Studios — a British company renowned for crafting miniature, drivable versions of classic automobiles. In this bold collaboration, both heritage and innovation blend to breathe new life into a timeless legend.

Blower Jnr: A Smaller Scale with a Big Legacy

Unlike previous Hedley creations, the Blower Jnr is no mere collectible — it is fully road-legal and engineered for real-world driving. Built to 85% of the original’s size, the Blower Jnr maintains the aesthetic and spirit of its 1929 predecessor, while being adapted for contemporary use.

Under the bonnet — or rather, under the hood — lies an electric motor producing just over 20 horsepower. It may not rival the original’s 4.5-litre supercharged engine, but the Blower Jnr brings eco-consciousness and modern flair to Bentley’s historic performance lineage.

Speed is carefully regulated, with a maximum of 72 km/h in the UK and European Union, and a reduced 40 km/h cap in the United States. A single battery charge allows the vehicle to travel up to 105 kilometres, ensuring a practical yet nostalgic driving experience.

Production, Customisation and Pricing

Only 349 units of the Blower Jnr will be built, further enhancing its status as a collector’s item. Production is already underway, with the first deliveries expected to begin later this year.

True to the spirit of luxury craftsmanship, each buyer will have the option to personalise their Blower Jnr, from aesthetic trims to bespoke detailing, ensuring no two models are entirely alike.

Pricing starts at approximately €100,000, placing the electric tribute in the high-end collector car segment — though still a fraction of what an original Bentley Blower might command at auction.

Honouring the Past, Embracing the Future

The Bentley Blower Jnr is more than a nostalgic nod — it’s a celebration of a brand unafraid to blend tradition with innovation. In an age where electric mobility is reshaping automotive design, Bentley has managed to encapsulate both heritage and sustainability in a single, elegant package.

As the Blower Jnr takes to the roads, it serves as a rolling reminder that even legends can evolve — and that some engines of history are better revived than retired.
