Ghanaian top flight outfit Berekum Chelsea are set to snatch striker, Kwame Boateng from Karela United, Ghanaguardian can confirm.

The Brong Ahafo based side are in advanced talks with the former Asante Kotoko and Medeama SC forward and are likely sign him ahead of the start of the new season.

Boateng, who signed a two year contract with Karela United this year will meet the bank roller of Berekum Chelsea Nana Kwame Nketia to finalize a fresh deal in Kumasi.

Our outfit understands that the player's decision to quit Karela comes as a result of the club's failure to fulfill their contractual obligation.

According to our sources, Boateng is yet to receive a single salary since signing for Karela United.
