President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has nominated Isaac Osei Kwasi as the District Chief Executive for Berekum West in the Brong Ahafo region.

This follows the rejection of the Berekum West DCE Nominee, Martin Obeng Adjei in an earlier election held on Friday July 27, 2018.

A Press Release issued by the Sector Minister, Hajia Alima  Mahama tasked the Regional Minister to liaise with the Electoral Commission amd urgently conduct the confirmation process for the nominated Chief Executive.

The nomination of Osei by the President is in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Governance Act, Act 936.
