Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah made an impressive debut for Al Riyadh, playing a pivotal role in their thrilling 3-3 draw against Al-Wehda in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday evening.

Mensah, who was introduced at halftime, wasted no time in making his presence felt.

He scored a powerful header in the 51st minute, leveling the score after Al-Wehda had taken the lead through Craig Goodwin's 40th-minute strike.

Mensah further showcased his skill by providing an assist, contributing significantly to Al Riyadh's comeback efforts.

The match was filled with drama, including a red card for Al Riyadh's Hussain Al Nowaiqi in the 59th minute, which put the team under considerable pressure.

Despite being a man down, Al Riyadh showed remarkable resilience. Ibrahim Bayesh scored in the 85th minute to equalize, but Al-Wehda responded with a late goal from Murad Khadhari, ensuring the game ended in a draw.

Though Al-Wehda dominated possession and shots on goal, Al Riyadh's determination, bolstered by Mensah's standout performance, earned them a valuable point.

Al Riyadh will aim to build on this momentum when they face Al Kholood on August 29th.
